Seed was founded by Rabbi Joey Grunfeld over 40 years ago and is now led by CEO Rabbi Malcolm Herman, with centres in Edgware, Borehamwood and Prestwich. We are at the forefront of Jewish family education, sharing the richness of Jewish life, learning and values with thousands of families every year, changing lives and generations.   

Seed’s goal is to enhance family life and strengthen Jewish identity from the inside out. We believe this can be achieved by offering Jewish families opportunities to strengthen their connection to the community, enhance their parenting skills and explore their Jewish heritage. To do this, we position a team of top educators to deliver contemporary and relevant adult education programmes together with a range of family-friendly events.
