he clocks have changed, the matzot are in and summer is definitely around
the corner! I came across an intriguing thought. We tend to link the
festivals with the seasons. Pesach is in the spring, Shavuot in the summer
and Succot in the Autumn. But actually perhaps it is the other way around.
It is spring that coincides with Pesach and the summer with Shavuot.
The seasons of the soul dictate the seasons of the earth. After all G-d created the
earth to service the development of the soul!
So this is the season of spiritual ripening and we have plenty on offer in these
pages for the mature mind!
